Teen Adventure Camp (Ages 12-16)

Are you looking for a summer filled with new experiences? Do you want to develop new skills? Teen Adventure Camp is ideal for the teen that is up for a challenge and wants to be on the move and meet new people. Activities may include canoeing, rock climbing, swimming, camping, rollerblading, and hiking. Fireld trips include visits to the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Shock, Longway Planetarium, Lansing Lugnuts, Toledo Mud Hens, Detroit Science Center, Detroit Institute of Arts, and more!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Price: Members $200, Non-Members $220

Amusement Park Tour (Ages 12-16)

Our Session 8 Amusement Park Tour is back by demand. This camp is a full weeklong trip of camping and exploring, while visiting Cedar Point, Six Flags, and Kings Island! There will be no regular Teen Adventure Camp during session 8, as our staff will be accompanying teens on the Amusement Park Tour.

NEW for 2008! Counselor in Training (CIT) Program (Ages 15-17)
Our free two-week Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is for students who are sincerely interested in learning more about YMCA camp programs and gaining counselor skills. Teens complete an intensive program that includes mentoring, leadership development, and job training. Due to limited space, potential CITs need to complete an application process for this program.
