Beginner Guitar, Level One
The YMCA welcomes Ann Arbor guitarist, musician and performer Shari Kane as the instructor of this adult guitar class for true beginners.  The class will focus on learning chords and how to change them smoothly through the use of popular songs.  We will learn several strumming patterns and begin learning how to fingerpick.  Students will need to bring their own guitars of any kind.  Electric or acoustic will be fine! Summer classes begin July 2.  Ages 17 and up.

Continuing Guitar
Shari Kane teaches this class for students who have had a beginner Guitar class at the Y or elsewhere for at least one session and who have some basic technique. Students must have their own guitars, either acoustic or electric. Summer classes begin July 2.  Ages 14 and up.
