Class Scholarship Process:

  1. Using this form request a “class category” by submitting your class scholarship form the Friday before registration begins. Please submit all requests by the deadline of Monday at 12noon. By selecting a class category type you will receive a scholarship voucher for that specific department to use towards any available time/class session. For example: Class desired Pike 1, select class category: Aquatics-swim lessons on the Class Scholarship form.

  1. If you haven’t already done so, create an online account by selecting “Register an account” on the top right hand corner of the YMCA member link page found here-http://registration.annarborymca.org/RegOnline/ How to directions are attached in this email, please see the PDF form attached.  

  1. On the Tuesday before online registration begins you will receive an email notification if you are awarded a scholarship with the next steps to continue registration.

 

Open Arms Class Scholarship Form
Please use the form below for YMCA class scholarships only
. All requests are reviewed during the first week of online registration only. The class participant will be registered for the class at the time of this forms submission, given there is still space available in the class. Forms submitted beyond each class registration period deadline may not receive scholarship consideration, and members are subject to paying the balance due in full. The Open Arms Coordinator will contact the family by email or telephone regarding class scholarship approval or denial. You must have complete current income verification on file to qualify for a class/program scholarship. Optional - If you are requesting consideration for a second class scholarship, pleae choose the class category

1) Class scholarships are on a first come, first served basis and are subject to available funds and eligibility.
2) If the class fills prior to acceptance of the scholarship, Recipient will be added to the waitlist.
3) Recipient will be responsible for the balance of class fees.
4) If Recipient defaults on payment, future class scholarships as well as membership scholarship may be denied.
5) Scholarship money is only transferable to classes during the same session and within the same department.
