75 minute long clinic, once a week. Coaches play as quarterbacks using hand offs & run plays. Pee wee, soft grip footballs for small hands. 6 v 6. One 60 minute long clinic, once a week. Coaches play as quarterbacks using hand offs & run plays. Pee wee, soft grip footballs for small hands. 6 v 6.

2nd and 3rd Grade:  Mondays 5:00-6:30 pm

90 minute long clinic, once a week. Coaches play as quarterbacks using hand offs & run plays. Pee wee, soft grip footballs for small hands. 6 v 6. One 60 minute long clinic, once a week. Coaches play as quarterbacks using hand offs & run plays. Pee wee, soft grip footballs for small hands. 6 v 6.

4th through 6th Grade: Thursdays 5:00-6:30 pm
90 minute clinic once a week. Coaches teach running and passing plays. Junior sized footballs for small hands. 6 v 6 defensive strategies using youth sized footballs. Small sided games increase playing time and success! 6 v 6.

LEAD THE TEAM: BECOME A Y VOLUNTEER COACH!

Y youth sports teams are coached by one or two trained YMCA volunteer coaches, many of whom are parents or community members. If you like to work with children and enjoy helping them learn and succeed, we need you! If you are interested in coaching, you need to be at least 14 years of age and to attend a Y coach’s workshop prior to the start of the season. Our workshops introduce volunteers to the YMCA’s character values and youth development philosophy as well as give you the practical skills necessary to teach and lead youth sports teams. No formal coaching experience is necessary; all we ask is that you are committed to helping young people build positive self-images and develop a passion for an active lifestyle.
