Swim Meets
Barracudas Swim Club participates in YMCA sanctioned meets organized by the local YMCAs of SE Michigan by invitation in the Fall and Winter sessions. We host an annual dual meet against the Carls Family YMCA of Milford in the in the month of March. A schedule of Meets is generally available at the beginning of each session.
Participation to meets is voluntary for each swimmer; there is a participation fee for each meet except for the dual Meet, and parents are required to drop and pick up swimmers at the venues.
We are encouraging all our swimmers to partcipate in our Annual Dual Meet on Saturday March 27 1:30-5:00pm at the Ann Arbor Y swimming pool.

Swim Suits
A lightweight suit, goggles and swim cap are important for swimmers. It is required to purchase a team suit to compete in the meets. If the swimmer wears a swim cap during competition, it is important that it be the club cap.
