Playing sports regularly can be a great way of staying healthy and having fun at the same time. At the Ann Arbor YMCA we believe that sports can be played and enjoyed by all, regardless of ability. If you would like to view a program schedule, please click on the online registration link.
Adult Basketball League
Compete in our 5 v 5 recreational basketball league where the emphasis is on having fun! All players sign up individually and we will assign you to a team. Each game is 40 minutes long broken into 2, 20-minute halves. All games are self-refereed and all participants are required to be Ann Arbor YMCA members. Games are played Sunday afternoons at 1pm or 2pm. All players receive a YMCA Basketball League shirt.

Adult Futsal League (5 v 5 Soccer)
The origins of Futsal® (Five-a-Side Soccer) can be traced back to 1930 in Uruguay, when a five-a-side version of soccer was designed for youth competition in YMCAs. The game is played on basketball-sized courts without the use of sidewalls. All levels of players are welcome. Participants sign up individually and are assigned to teams based on experience. Each game at the YMCA is is played in two 20-minute halves, for a total of 40 minutes. All games are self-refereed. Each player receives a YMCA Futsal League shirt.

Adult Netball
Netball is developing quite a reputation here at the Ann Arbor YMCA! The fastest growing women’s team sport in the UK, Australia and New Zealand is FREE for you to try! Netball is a fast team game that involves successfully passing a ball between teammates and eventually scoring goals or points. Our experienced international coaches will teach you the fundamentals of the game in a fun and relaxed environment. Download a ‘Netball how to' sheet and sign up for our FREE 8 week workshop! Adult Volleyball
The perfect way to relax and have fun while adding exercise to your evening! Join us on Wednesday evenings or Sunday mornings for our semi-instructional volleyball class aimed at recreational level volleyball players. While the class is primarily games based, there will be an instructor available to help you develop your individual technique and skills. Participants may register for either or both classes.
