Our indoor soccer classes are fun instructional classes with an emphasis on playing games. Children will play in small sided games and practices and develop basic techniques in passing, dribbling & shooting. Most importantly they will make new friends and learn that teamwork and sportsmanship come first.

Parent participation is required for both portions of this class. Participants may wear bathing suits to class.
New! Youth Rugby (Seasonal: April-October)
Flag Rugby is a version of rugby designed for elementary aged children. This safe, non-contact version of rugby builds basic fundamentals and is fun to play for both boys and girls alike. While the rules are simple and easy to learn, the game promotes ball handling and running skills, and gives children a chance to try another new sport! Led by certified US rugby coach, Tom Stulberg. Ages 6-10 & 11-14.
New! Kick, Catch, Throw
A fun introductory sports class for boys and girls ages 3-4. Through a range of developmentally appropriate activities, children are introduced to some of the fundamentals of basketball, t-ball, floor hockey and indoor soccer. Parents are encourged to attend with their children. Ages 3 - 4.
Youth Wrestling
At the Y, we focus on teaching fundamental wrestling techniques and developing strength and conditioning within a safe and healthy environment. Our goal is to build confidence, respect, and perseverance in our children through wrestling. There will be an opportunity to compete in youth wrestling tournaments with our team, the Ann Arbor Pumas.
NOTE: The Club operates on the basis of the contribution of all of its members, and therefore, at least one parent or guardian per family will be required to assist the Club in its operations (e.g., supervision at tournaments, coordinating food, photography/video, fundraising). The parents and guardians are not expected to have any experience with wrestling or coaching.
