Counselor in Training Program (Ages 15–17)
Has your teen ever wondered what it takes to be a counselor? During sessions 4 and 5 he/she can find the answer to this question. Our two-week Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program takes teens through an intensive program that includes mentoring, leadership development, and job training. This free program is for teens who are sincerely interested in learning more about YMCA camp programs and gaining new skills. Due to limited space, all potential CITs need to complete our application process. Please contact Josh Humbel at (734) 661-8012 to find out how to apply. Returning CITs should contact Josh to arrange a camp placement.
Schedule: 8:30 a.m.–4:30p.m. Free, by application only.
