Day Camp Registration Begins February 10th, 2012!

Welcome to Summer 2012 with the Ann Arbor YMCA!

YMCA summer day camps are all about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities and make lasting friendships and memories.

As a participant in one of our many camps, your child will be positively impacted by great programs and caring staff. Our counselors are dedicated to ensuring a safe atmosphere while instilling the character values of the Y. YMCA Day Camp themes of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring are found in each game, activity, and interaction.

We encourage you to consider our new camps like Glee and Fit Kids Camp for something different this summer.

Welcome to all of the possibilities of Ann Arbor YMCA Day Camps!

Financial Assistance

Through the generous contributions of our donors, the Ann Arbor YMCA is able to provide financial scholarships that enable all members of the community to enjoy YMCA programs, regardless of income. Financial assistance applications are available

at our membership desk and at www.annarborymca.org. The deadline for scholarship applications is March 15, 2012.

Staffing

All staff members are selected for their maturity, dedication, enthusiasm, and their desire to work with children. Men and women are recruited from colleges and universities around the state and have years of experience working with children.

Our entire staff is CPR and First Aid certified and participates in an intensive training program that covers safety, supervision, counseling and camp procedures. Ann Arbor YMCA average counselor-to-camper ratios follow state guidelines to ensure that your child receives the best care and attention.

Refund/Transfer Policy

Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. Up to seven days before the beginning of your camp, all funds, less the deposit, are refundable and transferable within other Day Camp programs. This includes transfers to a new session and/or current Day Camp balance dues.

Within seven days all funds are non-refundable and non-transferable to a balance due or new registration. A written physician-authorized note verifying illness or injury is required in order to obtain a refund if a child cancels within seven days of the session start date. If a camper fails to show for a registered session without notice, there will be no refund issued. In cases of homesickness, dismissal, or voluntary withdrawal, there will be no refund of any fees.
