The Ann Arbor YMCA is pleased to announce a new partnership with Global Tech Academy (1715 East Forest Avenue, Ypsilanti, MI 48198) to provide a traditional day this summer for children ages 5 to 11 years old. The camp sessions will run Monday—Friday, 8:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m., June 17- August 9 (there will be no camp on Thursday July 4).

The fee for Ypsilanti YMCA Day Camp at Global Tech Academy is $100 per session. A deposit of $10 will be due regardless if the camper is applying for financial assistance.

As a participant in the Ypsilanti YMCA Day Camp at Global Tech Academy campers will have the opportunity to take part in traditional camp activities as well as arts and crafts, science experiments, nutrition lessons, team-building activities, sports, field trips and more!


The YMCA is an environment that is open and inclusive to ALL. To ensure that our summer camp and programs are accessible, scholarships and financial assistance are available to those who qualify. To apply for a scholarship online or over the phone during the registration process, indicate that you are a scholarship applicant when prompted. You will then need to submit income documentation by Monday May 27. The following forms of income documentation are accepted: federal tax form, employer paystubs, proof of government assistance (DHS/Food Assistance, SSI/SSDI/Pension Report, MESC Benefit Report), and/or student documentation (financial aid budget breakdown, award letter from college/university). The deadline to apply for a scholarship will be Monday May 27. Scholarships will be awarded on Thursday May 30.
