Feldenkrais 1. Let’s Do the Twist – Posture, Power and Pleasure
Lengthen and align your spine for better posture, power and more pleasure as you move. This Feldenkrais workshop will make use of a variety of spinal rotation and counter-rotation (“twisting”) patterns to improve the health of your spine. The workshop will involve movements done while lying on the floor as well as sitting in a chair. Sunday, November 5, 2017. 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Feldenkrais 2. Balance Your Hips and Pelvis
Learn movement patterns to restore your spine, pelvis and hips to balance. Asymmetry in your pelvis and hips can create problems and pain within your hips and pelvis as well as above (spine, head, neck, shoulders) and below (knees, ankles, feet). Learn simple, effective movement patterns to help you feel the imbalance and gradually move to a more balanced organization. The movement patterns will help establish a healthy coordination between your hips/pelvis and the rest of your body. Sunday, November 19, 1:00-2:30 p.m.
