Location

The speed camp is geared for serious track and field athletes who compete in meets in the sprint events (with few exceptions). The training will be intense, accordingly. All athletes will be expected to train hard, based on their age. For this reason, athletes also need to be healthy, as this training can aggravate any existing injuries and other health issues. The camp takes place Mondays. Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 – 8:00pm at University of Michigan Ferry Field. Registration by invite only

In this class, participants enjoy fun music, the opportunity to learn cool moves and a space to dance freely. Expect to develop your own dance phrasing and styles; learn, grow, connect and share. Suitable for mixed-age and mixed-mobilities, we will warm up, try out movement combos, respond to prompts, enjoy props and some interactions with each other, and cool down.

Come enjoy making music with your feet!

If you have a basic tap dance foundation and are comfortable with beginner-level tap technique and vocabulary, this class is for you. We will develop musicality and timing, refine speed and precision, and combine new steps into fun tap combinations in a positive, supportive, and interactive atmosphere. Please wear comfortable clothing and tap shoes (oxford-style recommended), and bring a water bottle.

Whether you’ve never danced a day in your life or you’re returning after years away, this class is for you! Designed for adults and teens age 14 and up, Adult Beginner Ballet offers a supportive, judgment-free space to explore ballet basics, build strength and flexibility, and experience the beauty of movement. We’ll focus on foundational technique, posture, and musicality, all at a gentle pace – no prior experience required. Come as you are and discover (or rediscover) the grace of ballet in a fun, encouraging environment.
