Join Janet as she educates individuals on the proper form for fundamental and functional movements we perform in our daily activities of living (squatting, single-leg movement, pushing, pulling, rotational). Once the basics are established we will discuss simple ways people can include some form of resistance training as a part of our daily movements.

The goal is to help people learn how to properly move their bodies to avoid injury, pain, and chronic conditions for longevity. Even if you have already been practicing strength training, this workshop would be a great way to check that you are performing moves with the proper technique. Strength training promotion is the other main goal. We view this as an important public health campaign because we all need strength to live better and protect our bodies. It’s a proactive practice to avoid limitations in our muscles and joints, regardless of age.
