Are you looking to get your students outside, active, laughing, and connecting, but not sure where to start? Camp Birkett Outdoor Center is the perfect field trip. Whether your students have a lot of experience outdoors, or haven’t spent much time there, there is something new for them to discover. With curriculum offerings in outdoor & adventure education and teambuilding, we can craft a day of programming to suit your needs.

This can be a great start of the year trip to strengthen relationships between students, an end of year celebration, or anything in-between. If your school traditionally takes older students to an overnight camp, visiting Birkett for a day can be a wonderful starting point to help younger students be more prepared for the experience. 

Camp Birkett is situated on the shore of Silver Lake near Pinckney, MI. It has a long and rich history as a summer camp serving the area’s children. Birkett offers classic summer camp experiences including canoeing, archery, and nature activities. The camp facilities include a large rustic lodge building, locker rooms and restrooms, a sports field, pavilion, waterfront with dock, and an archery range.
