For beginner level fencers of all ages. This class is devoted to introducing Olympic style foil fencing. Students will learn the basic techniques of this age-old sport and work on reaction, timing, and point-control. Working together, students gain knowledge of etiquette and safety precautions, as well as an understanding for the rules and proceedings of a fencing match. Fencing is a mental and physical high energy sport, providing the intrigue of sword play with cardiovascular conditioning. Please wear court shoes and loose fitting clothes. Equipment is provided.
Note: Due to high demand and limited space, registrants that miss the first two classes will be removed and waitlisted participants will be registered.
