The Ann Arbor Y is an association made up of people from every walk of life, working side by side to strengthen communities. Together we strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, gender identity, gender expression, income, faith, sexual orientation or cultural background has the opportunity to live life to its fullest.

Membership Types & Rates
Membership types are just a starting point. Membership costs vary depending on the selected membership type. Financial assistance is available through our Open Arms Scholarship Program. *Memberships cannot be purchased over the phone. All Membership applications must be completed online or in person at our Membership Desk.
Listed rates are applicable as of January 1, 2025.
Family
One-Time Joining Fee: $100- Includes two persons over the age of 18.
- Includes all dependent children (ages 23 and younger) who reside in the same household.
- Includes three (3) annual guest passes per member above age 12.
Senior (65+)
One-Time Joining Fee: $60- Includes one individual age 65+.
- Includes three (3) annual guest passes.
Adult (30-64)
One-Time Joining Fee: $75- Includes one individual age 30-64.
- Includes three (3) annual guest passes.
Student (12-22)
One-Time Joining Fee: $0- Includes one individual age 12-22
- No annual guest passes included.
- Student status is NOT required.
- All individuals under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or guardian co-sign Membership agreement.
Single Parent Family
One-Time Joining Fee: $75- Includes one person over the age of 18.
- Includes all dependent children (ages 23 and younger) who reside in the same household.

Where Can I Park?
Y Members and visitors may access the on-site Y Parking Lot by purchasing an entry card from the Membership Desk for a $10.00 activation fee. An hourly rate is charged when parking in the on-site lot. Parking lot cards can be pre-loaded at the terminal in our lobby or linked to a credit/debit card.
Note: All replacement cards are subject to an additional $10 reactivation fee. Remaining balances on lost or misplaced lot entry cards can be transferred to a replacement card after the $10 activation fee has been paid.

| 1/2 Price Meters | $1.10/hour with longer time limits Can be found on the 200 block and 400 blocks of N. First, the 300 and 400 blocks of N. Ashley, and 1100 and 1200 blocks of S. State, and the 700 block of Packard. |
Daily Maximum charge is $32.
