Online Joins – Next Steps

Welcome to the Ann Arbor YMCA!

You have successfully taken the first steps in your journey to help create a healthier community. To finalize your membership registration, please visit the Member Services Desk at the Ann Arbor YMCA and take the following steps:

1. Stop by the Member Services Desk and let them know that you have signed up for a membership through our website.
2. Please bring a valid photo I.D. (government I.D. preferred). The name on your I.D. must match the name you have provided during your membership registration. Our front desk staff will run the I.D. through the National Sexual Offender Registry. Any individual known to be listed on any state or national sexual offender registry can be denied access to the YMCA.
3. Prepare to take a photo! The first time you stop at the Member Services Desk, we’ll take your photo to add to your membership profile.
4. Receive your membership scan tag. After your photograph has been taken, the front desk staff will provide you with a membership scan tag that you will use to enter the facility when visiting.
